Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria is known for his controversy in the world of politics.
However, before dwelling into politics, Kuria worked in the corporate world for several years.
Kuria has worked as an auditor, accountant and banker.
The Jubilee legislator started working as an auditor in 1994 at a firm before ending up as the head of business process re-engineering, Africa at Standard Charted Bank in 1995.
In 1997, Kuria pioneered the bank's hubbing process.
The lawmaker was, however, not lucky in 1999 as he lost a chance to become the bank's head of operation.
The position was instead taken by Jeremy Awori who is now CEO of Barclays Bank.
Still in 1999, Kuria left the country after landing a new job at Al Rajhi Bank in Saudi Arabia.
While at Al Rajhi Bank, Kuria became the manager of business process re-engineering.
The position was availed to him by his former boss, Chris Wingfield.
The vocal politician later became the chief operations officer at Wanda Information Services in Dubai before joining politics in 2007.
Kuria joined the Party of National Unity (PNU) as Director of Programs and Spokesperson in 2007.
He later become the officer in charge of strategy in The National Alliance (TNA) party in 2013 before he was elected unopposed as Gatundu South MP during a by-election in 2014.
Kuria retained his seat in the August 8, 2017 general election on a Jubilee party ticket.
