On Thursday, the TNA party Secretary General Onyango Oloo visited Nakuru to resolve leadership wrangles between the county TNA chairman Samuel Githaiga and a faction led by one Harrison Muiruri.

After fiery disagreements, that ran to around dusk, a power-sharing formula was reached with Githaiga retained the chairmanship with Muiruri being appointed treasurer.

Other positions for politicians considered inept were filled by leaders of the two factions while some in Githaiga’s camp were asked to step down to accommodate Muiruri’s supporters.

Githaiga told our writer that he is now happy to have a treasurer he can be sending to Nairobi whenever monetary issues arise.

He said his new deputy chair is Pauline Chemutai while Muiruri’s deputy is now nominated Nakuru County MCA Khadija Shabani.
