Nyaribari Chache member of Parliament Richard Tong'i has now strongly defended the Jubilee leadership that was under fire from the Gusii region for failing to nominate former CIC chairman Charles Nyachae to EALA and instead said there are other state jobs 'set' aside for them.

According to the MP, there was no need for a section of leaders and Jubilee supporters from Gusii region to criticize President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy and instead urged them to give them enough time to settle in office.

Speaking during a church service on Saturday, the MP said that they had agreed already with the president and they are sure he will be able to deliver his promise of awarding the region.

"The nomination was competitive and let's understand that Nyachae failing to be nominated ain't the end of the road as there are many other state jobs and we should give Uhuru and his deputy enough time as they will be able to deliver their promises instead of starting to criticize him," said Tong'i

The MP's sentiments come at a time a section of elders, leaders and Jubilee supporters attacked the government for failing to favor Nyachae despite the fact he championed Jubilee leadership in Kisii during campaigns.
