Most people know Kenyan politicians as comedians. From what they say, how they dress to how they act, they leave most of us amazed. Various actions aren’t expected from our leaders. Most of them do things for fame, little do they know they are embarrassing themselves in front of the whole world. In the recent past, we have witnessed our politicians launch some strange projects.
Here are some of the projects launched by our politicians that got the whole world talking:
Water tank: Alfred Keter, the Nandi Hills MP arrived in a chopper to launch a water tank project worth Sh 35,000.
Cattle dip: The former Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto arrived in a helicopter to launch a cattle dip project worth Sh 5000.
Mud house: The former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga was seen commissioning a reconstructed mud house belonging to an old woman.
Toilets: President Uhuru Kenyatta launched public toilets in Machakos County.
Gate: The Nairobi Governor walked all the walk from his office to the City Hall to launch the new KICC gate. Thereafter, he addressed a press conference.
Electricity Transformer: Maara south MP Karere Mbiuki found himself in hot soup after he launched an electrical transformer with a billboard on it.
Footbridge: The former Kirinyaga Governor Joseph Ndathi deflected attention from the much awaiting former US President arrival in the country by launching a footbridge in his area.
