Acting Cabinet Secretary for Education Fred Matiang'i has been urged to transfer teachers in a 'humane manner'.Kenya Nationl Union of Teachers (KNUT) secretary general Baringo branch Joshua Cheptarus said the recent transfers have been in bad taste.

 He said they are teachers transferred yet they had launched complaints before and their cases heard and allowed to stay."Surprisingly even one teacher who had an amputated arm has been transferred," he lamented.There was a radical move to transfer head teachers after Matiang'i said they will no longer serve areas they come frim.

This has led to a clash with local leaders who are protesting new posting.
