Kenyans online have unearthed a photo of president Uhuru Kenyatta while hunting for votes during the 2017 presidential race.
The photo (above) shows president Kenyatta braving heavy rains in Nyahururu as he urged his supporters to get out in large numbers and ensure they help him defeat Raila Odinga.
Kenyans online wondered why Kenyatta had cancelled his trip to Kakamega on Tuesday April 24 over bad weather yet he was braving the same during campaigns.
Netizens said the move showed Kenyatta was just pulling stunts to woo voters.
“And all of a sudden, the president was unable to attend the Devolution Conference 2018 due to heavy rains and bad weather! Quite interesting!” Mwangi Maina posted on facebook.
Kenyatta skipped the conference and addressed those in attendance via a video link.
