A Kisii University student was on Sunday night beaten for allegedly sleeping with his aunt at Inani village Gesere Keumbu Kisii County.
Residents said the woman lured the student to her house after she separated from her husband.
“The woman has turned to be a prostitute after her husband left her. She is now dating young people including her relatives but we will not allow her to spoil the future of school going children,” said James Omae, a resident.
Omae said the woman has since gone into hiding after the incident.
“Residents descended on the student with kicks and blows and the woman took advantage and fled into the darkness never to be seen again. We will not allow her to come back here to continue sleeping with small boys,” added Omae.
The student who will not be named for security reasons when questioned by locals who found them red-handed in the act said her aunt lured him to the house and drugged him before they started having sex in the same bed the woman has been sleeping with his uncle.
"I blame my aunt for this. She drugged me something that forced me to have sex with her. Please forgive me because I will never repeat the same,” said the student.
