To his credit, Hivisasa.com has learnt, local politicians have nicknamed him 'Jaramogi, a name associated with Raila Odinga's father, Oginga Odinga.

In Suba, he is credited for playing an integral role in the victory of Minority Leader John Mbadi among other leaders.

Speaking to hivisasa on Monday, Mr Makori said that all the aspirants he supported in the 2017 elections emerged victorious.

"All my political aspirants have won their respective seats. I believe in clean politics and that's my passion," Makori said.

Makori ensured that all the top prominent seats were retained by his favorite candidates in the concluded 2017 general elections.

Others who have reaped from his behind scenes operations include Senator Moses Kajwang of Homa Bay, area Women Rep Gladys Wanga and Governor Cyprian Awiti.

However, he was heartbroken after the gubernatorial seat was challenged in Homa Bay High Court and his governor lost.

"My lowest moment is when my Governor Cyprian Awiti lost his seat after it was nullified but we shall emerge the winners again. We have numbers and the people will vote again," Makori said.

Speaking on phone, John Mbadi confirmed that Makori has been helpful in his political strategies to ensure he became victorious and is one of the influential youth in his constituency.

 "Politicians should work for the people. And my people should remember that in 2022, i will run for the South Suba constituency parliamentary seat," Makori concluded.
