"I am from Belgium, Europe, I cannot speak fluent Kikuyu but I can sing in Kikuyu," he said as he went ahead to perform a Kikuyu song, 'Kigocho'.

In a video posted on United States of Kiambu by Pastor Zainab Hussein on Friday last week, the 'mzungu' is joined by locals in praising God.

His singing in Kikuyu elicited mixed reactions from residents, with most of them saying Kikuyu has become an international language.

They also 'rebuked' those who pretend they don't understand nor speak the language and yet they were born in Kiambu County. Others also expressed their support to Belgium in Russia FIFA World Cup.
