Renowned businessman and multimillionaire Jimmy Wanjigi has asked Deputy President William Ruto to wake up and derive meaning out of NASA leader Raila Odinga's subsequent and historical handshakes.
He asked the deputy president to think over Raila's handshakes with President Uhuru Kenyatta, Daniel Moi and the latest with Mwai Kibaki, join the dots and see the clear picture.
Wanjigi, however, did not reveal what he insinuated about the handshakes but clearly meant that there is something going on.
Through a Twitter post on Saturday, Wanjigi who is a close ally to Raila Odinga said the DP should be awakened by the handshakes before things get worse ahead of the highly anticipated election.
"First came the Uhuru Handshake, then followed the Moi Handshake and recently the Kibaki Handshake. Join the dots and a clear picture will emerge. If this picture doesn't scare Ruto to wake up from slumber, he'll be cooked & served for the breakfast by the dynasties before the dawn breaks," he said.
On Friday, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga visited retired president Mwai Kibaki at the latter's Muthaiga home where they discussed the state of the country and how best Kenyans can be united.
