On her Facebook account, Ndeti claimed that the recent poll on how Kenyans rate their governors by Pottpoll is a clear indication of how Machakos County has been duped for too long through cosmetic projects meant for the cameras and documentaries rather than helping the people.

Ndeti slammed the governor for traversing the country in vote hunt yet he hasn't fulfilled his promises to Machakos residents.

"Mr. Mutua feels so big and has started crisscrossing the country in what he has openly referred to as launching his presidential bid 4 years to the 2022 General Elections. What a shame," Ndeti said.

She said the main purpose of devolution was not to gain power but to bring services closer to the people at grass root levels.

The Wiper's Machakos gubernatorial candidate in 2017 polls said Mutua has continued to undermine and sabotage devolution.

Ndeti said the governor should relinquish his position ahead of Court of Appeal's ruling on June 8th, 2018 and let the people of Machakos experience fruits of devolution.

Ndeti had moved to the Appellant Court sitting in Nairobi to challenge a High Court's ruling that upheld Mutua's August 8, 2017 victory.
