Speaking to journalists in Machakos Town on Friday, Ndeti said she has not given up in quest for justice.

The Wiper politician said she is going to fight and ensure that Machakos people get justice.

Ndeti maintained that he was the genuine winner in last year’s Machakos gubernatorial election.

“I urge my supporters to remain firm because our quest to fight electoral injustice is on course,” Ndeti said.

The former MP said her lawyers will next week file an appeal against the High Court ruling that upheld Governor Alfred Mutua’s re-election last week.

“We will be moving to the Court Of Appeal next week because we believe that the High Court did not render justice to us,” she said.

Ndeti   claimed Governor Mutua is in office illegally, exuding confidence that the Court Of Appeal will quash the High Court ruling.

The former MP at the same time told off Mutua, saying she can never work with him.

She  said Mutua has nothing to show for the period he has been a governor. “Mutua should keep quite because everyone knows him as a Public Relations Governor,” she said.

Ndeti also told off the governor over his ‘cup of tea’ offer. “Mutua should know that I cannot be bought or swayed with a ‘cup of tea,’' she said.

On Wednesday during an interview on Radio Jambo, the Maendeleo Chap Chap governor said he was ready to have a cup of tea with  Ndeti.

The Machakos High Court upheld Mutua’s re-election last week, dismissing a petition that had been filed by Ndeti challenging his re-election.

The court termed Ndeti’s petition as weak with no merit.

The former MP was slapped with Sh10 million fine as cost for the petition.
