Kasalu argues that there is a plot to confuse Kalonzo and make him drop the 2022 NASA ticket to someone else.

Speaking  to journalists in Kitui town on Wednesday, the Wiper MP asked Kalonzo to remain alert and active as he calculates his 2022 strategies.

She said Kalonzo is the president in waiting and that no one will stop his bid.

“My advice to Kalonzo is for him to ignore distractions to keep his eyes on the 2022 presidential election,” Kasalu said.

The Kitui woman representative said Kalonzo has the potential and qualities to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

She said time for Kalonzo’s presidency has come urging Kenyans to rally behind the former Vice President when time comes.

Kasalu asked politicians eyeing the presidential  seat  including the Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua to drop their bid in favor of Kalonzo.

“Going by political experience, Kalonzo will be the most experience  and qualified candidate   for the 2022 presidential  election,” she added.

She said the Kamba community will firmly stand with the Wiper leader as he markets his 2022 bid.

Kalonzo is among top politicians who have declared interest in the 2022 presidential election.

The Wiper Party  leader signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Raila Odinga that was to see him fly the NASA ticket in 2022.

However, the MoU is likely to be trashed as claims emerge that Raila could contest again in 2022 on his ODM party.
