Like the proverbial man who swallows his cough, Raila Odinga has persistently kept us waiting with his swearing-in ceremony that never arrives.If Raila Odinga has any courage left in his veins, he should forthwith swear himself in without further ado.
Like the proverbial fly that attempts to push a mountain of dung into the pit hole, the NASA team is carrying out an exercise in futility.
That is why Raila must be reminded that his persistent threat to swear himself in "very soon" has become a sonorous din in our ears. There is only one recourse for comrade Raila to save his fledgling fortunes: swear yourself in!
As he does so, he should clearly remember that Githu Muigai is preparing his noose for his neck. I see Githu ensuring that the noose-knots are tight enough and the rope well oiled to befit the stature and honour of comrade Amolo.
It is my sincere hope that we will not hear anymore threats of one swearing himself in. Bring the Bible and let us all partake in the holy ceremony of swearing-in the people's president.
