Neymar scored the second goal deep into added time, to give Brazil a much-needed boost as they chase second round qualification.

he has since said the tears were an expression of triumph and joy for the 2-0 victory, in what was a make or break match for the football giants.

"Not everybody knows what I have been through to be here. Talking, even parrots can talk, now it is time for action. The tears are of joy, of overcoming, of courage," he posted on Twitter.

Philippe Coutinho put ahead Brazil ahead in the 91st minute of the added time before the PSG star added the second.

Neymar was sidelined for three months before the World Cup after he suffered a foot injury in February which forced him to undergo surgery.

"In my life, things have never been easy and they could not be easy now. The dream continues," he added on Twitter.

Neymar, who left  Barcelona last summer to join PSG in a record-setting transfer, brought his total international goal tally to 56, ahead of Romario and 4th all-time on Brazil scoring sheet.
