Grace Nyangaresi a resident in Kitutu Chache South and a staunch NASA supporter, was beaten up by her husband over attending the funeral which "the betrayer" (Raila) had attended.

"Immediately after the send off of Prof. Tumbo Oweri, I hastely rushed home to check on what I would do before the night fell," Nyangaresi said

"I found my husband outside the house, his face covered with rage. He wanted to know why I had to attend the the funeral in which the "betrayer" had attended. Before I could explain, he started beating me up," added.

The incident drew attention of the passers-by who were moving to their homes after the burial ceremony.

They rescued the woman from the beating she was receiving, threatening the man that they would call the police if he continued.

Isaac Nyangaresi narrated how the woman boycotted her domestic chores to go listen to the "people's betrayer".

He had warned her against attending the funeral but Nyangaresi's unwavering love and loyalty to Raila, made her attend despite the warnings she received from her husband.

"I came from my job to find everything in a mess. I would not hold my breath when I found a two-weeks-old calf rained on and shivering. She did not even prepare lunch for the kids." he said.

"She disregarded my warnings and headed to the funeral leaving my child's beddings to be rained on. I wonder if Raila would buy her a calf had this one died." he barked.

Nyangaresi was asked to cool and sit down and iron their differences as a couple. Villagers also asked the man to control his anger and not dare raise his hand to his wife, in the presence of their kids.
