The youths led by Elijah Nyamoi, said the move will allow area residents receive treatment all the time, thus erasing worries over transportation at night.

“Our MCAs are on the right track. The motion that will allow our dispensaries to work for 24 hours in a day is very encouraging," he said.

The youth leader challenged local politicians who lost during the last year’s polls to support the county government.

“Politicians who lost during the last year’s polls should consider supporting the current leaders to bring development in Nyamira.

"2022 is coming for them to also ask for support from the same leaders who will be retiring from politics,” he added.

He also challenged MCAs to allocate more funds to the health sector in the coming financial year 2018/19.
