Parents have been urged to encourage the children who performed poorly and those who had their results cancelled after the release of the 2015 KCSE results yesterday.
Speaking in Kisii town, Joel Omollo an Activist. He said that not everybody is talented in class work.
“Encourage your children who did not do well. It very bitter after putting much effort then have your results cancelled," said Omollo.
"You should not intimidate your children but help them have hope in life. All is not lost,” he added.
He said over the recent years there have been cases of suicides due to results pressure from parents and the community.
“Some parents will start pushing students back to school which in most cases yields no much fruit but frustrate the student," said the activist.
"Talk openly with your child and advice him or her on what next after the results despite their grades,” he added.
“Life is not all about classwork. We have had very successful individuals who did not achieve it through classwork," said Omollo.
