Barely weeks after a fire gutted a factory in Nakuru town, another factory has yet again gone up in flames in London estate.
The factory which manufactures and supplies mattresses, caught fire at around 11:15 am on Wednesday.
The huge billows of black smoke attracted a crowd to the scene.
“I can see the huge black smoke from my home and I at first thought it was coming from Menengai Crater,” report Jecinta Nyaruai, a resident of Mawanga which is more than five kilometres away from the scene.
The first fire engine to arrive at the scene of the fire was from Comply Timber Company and unconfirmed reports said the cause of the fire was a fuel tanker from within the company.
