Parents at Paramount Secondary school stormed the institution on Wednesday demonstrating against the owner’s decision to close it down.

According to parents, the school's administration sent them a text message informing them that the school had been closed down indefinitely.

"The school administration sent us a message on 14th December that the school had been closed down. That is not right!" Mary Kimani said.

Another parent, Mr James Njoroge said that he was disappointed by the action worrying on the fate of his son who is in form four at the school.

"My son is in form four i had paid school fees by the time the school sent us messages, how justified is their action and where will i take my son?" Njoroge said.

The parents called on the Ministry of Education to intervene.

Efforts to reach the school’s administration were futile.
