Celebrated gospel musician Alice Kamande has joined in the plea to help a Nakuru woman get treatment.

In a passionate appeal on her Facebook page, Kamande asked Kenyans to support Priscilla Kaniaru, who needs Sh 5 million to have stem plant surgery.

“She has suffered for quite a long time. For a period of thirty years, from when she gave birth to her firstborn who is now 30 years and she still holds on every strand of hope,” Kamande said.

Kamande pleaded with her fans saying Kaniaru has suffered for too long.

“She has been confined to her house for two years now and only leaves to visit the hospital. Her family and friends have watched her from being an able person to being fully reliant on her family and friends,” she added.

Kamande said she was touched when she read her story in a local publication.

“Her medical bills escalate with each hospital visit. She needs five million shillings to seek medical treatment in India. My appeal to you this holiday season is to join me help Priscilla regain her health,” she added.
