Kisii county governments have set up measures which will help bodaboda riders get driving skills to help them end unnecessary road accidents.
This comes after the Honda Motorbike Company gave out 200 motorbikes to Kisii County during the Kisii Entrepreneurship Summit, which was given to bodaboda riders across to the county as one way of challenging unemployment among the youths.
According to Kisii governor, James Ongwae, who received the motorbikes, the county government has set up measures which will ensure that the riders are safe and well protected with skills and once they are given the motorbikes to be in a safe side.
“As the county we have measures in place on how to quip these young riders,” said Ongwae.
Ongwae who was answering Linus Kirubi who challenged the county and Honda Company for what measures they have in place for the safety of the bodaboda riders, Ongwae said that he will make sure that all bodaboda riders observe traffic rules across the county.
