The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) on Wednesday concluded the last phase of destroying the 49 containers of contraband sugar that were nabbed at the Mombasa Port.

The sugar was dumped into the ocean using a barge.

KRA officials said that after the contents are emptied into the holds, the barge is expected to sail off and there after open its holds to allow the contents to flow into the ocean.
