Boda boda operators in Kisii town have accused county county revenue collection officers of violating the law while going about their duties.
This comes after an incident at a parking lot in Kisii town where one of the Kisii county revenue collection officials is said to have clamped a car, claiming it was parked at a wrong spot.
The official later admitted that the car had been appropriately parked, but failed to explain why he had clamped it.
Boda boda operators and the other motorists claimed the officers usually harass them, even after parking charges.
The riders have threatened to take the law into the hands if the county officials don't stop intimidating them.
"This should stop immediately or we take the law into our hands," said one of the riders.
