Aspirants eyeing various seats in the yet-to-be launched Jubilee party in Nakuru County have been assured of fair nominations.

TNA Nakuru County chairman Samwel Githaiga said aspirants should not be worried because there will be no favouritism during the nominations.

Addressing concerns raised by some aspirants about some people being favoured, Githaiga said the Jubilee party will be the people's party and the people will be let to make the decision.

"There are no favourite candidates in the party and all contestants will be treated as equals. We will ensure the nomination process is open, free and fair to all because we don't want walk outs after the exercise," he said.

The chairman called on all aspirants to focus on selling their policies to the people ahead of the nominations, and stop engaging in mudslinging politics.

He said new aspirants should not fear sitting MCAs and MPs because they can as well beat them at the ballot.

"I want to tell all aspirants that anything is possible in politics and all new aspirants should join the race with courage," he said.
