Juja OCS Luke Odiwuor has assured area residents of their security.
The OCS urged people working in the area to continue with their businesses as usual.
He said the Sub-County Security Committee was alert and would ensure hooligans from other regions do not infiltrate the area and cause trouble.
Odiwuor said they have so far not dealt with any worrying incident of insecurity, adding that security personnel are on the look out to ensure no one is attacked by criminals.
He urged people residing in other areas and operating businesses in Juja, not to worry as their property were secure.
Addressing residents after a security meeting with Juja MP Francis Munyua and members of the security committe, Odiwuor said he is dedicated to ensuring that everything is running as it should during this festive season.
He also warned residents against hate speech saying that anybody found culpable will be dealt with in accordance to the law.
The officer said peace which had been enjoyed in the region in the whole year will prevail even during the festive period.
He called upon all Kenyans to learn from the past experiences and strive to live as sisters and brothers and embark on reconstructing the economy of the country.
