An early accident along Section 58 – Naka Road in Nakuru this morning involving a small car and a motorcycle but no one was hurt.
The incidence that happened on Saturday morning at a few minutes after 9 left the lady driver greatly shaken though unhurt. Her vehicle however ended up in a ditch and has since then been towed to the police station.
According to Julius Kimutai who witnessed the whole incidence, the vehicle was trying to overtake the motorbike and there was a bicycle coming from the opposite direction.
“I think the driver panicked and in a bid to try and avoid colliding with the bicycle ended up knocking the motorbike from the side and both the car and motorbike were forced out of the road and into the ditch,” said Kimutai.
The motorbike had two young children as passengers who both escaped unhurt.
“I really felt bad about the kids since I had seen their mother putting them on the motorbike just a few minutes before,” said Kiptanui about the young boy and girl passengers.
