An online post recently triggered debate about the types of men women should not marry.

Whereas some ladies said they would never dream sharing a bed with men who are proud of themselves or serial liars, others argued that cheap men were the worst.

For Cord leader Raila Odinga's daughter, Winnie Odinga however, the case is different.

If you are a man who loves the bottle and spends most of your time at the bar, then you are not the kind of man for Winnie Odinga.

Winnie who is the youngest daughter of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga said she was advised by her mother Ida Odinga not to get married to a man she has met at the bar or a club.

“In the Kenyan society you either meet men in church or the bar. But it is like all Kenyan men have decided to spend most of their time in bars,” said Winnie, adding that dating in the Kenyan society is different.

Winnie who was speaking during an interview at a popular local television station, said she is waiting for her mother to bring her a man she feels deserves to be her spouse and who can respect her for who she is.

Raila’s last born said she is not dating anyone currently and is waiting for the right time.

“Imagine your mum asking you on your wedding day, how you met your fiancée and then you mention a certain club,” she said amidst laughter.

She stated that Ida also taught her that a woman will never change a man.
