The deputy president, William Ruto has attacked CORD leader, Raila Odinga concerning the land issues facing the people at the coast.

Ruto said the Jubilee government has put in more efforts to ensure the land problems at the coast are settled. He attacked the CORD leader saying what Jubilee has done concerning the land issue is more compared to what Raila did while he was in Office.

These allegations come days after the Mombasa governor, Hassan Joho called on people to not allow Ruto to fool them since what he could be targeting was their land.

‘‘Ruto took land belonging to a man in Eldoret during the 2007/2008 post election violence. It took the court’s intervention for the man to regain his land,’’ said Joho.

Ruto boasted of his achievements saying brought 300,000 title deeds to the coastal region and are yet to add 700,000 more.

Ruto spoke while campaigning for the Jubilee flag bearer, Philip Charo ahead of the Monday elections in Malindi. He urged voters to vote for Charo saying he is the only person to bring development in the area.
