A Pwani University student on Sunday afternoon was publicly humiliated by a mystery girlfriend he had been pursuing for weeks at the Kisii University after travelling from Sotik Town.
Source privy to this information reveal that the young man from Sotik Town got the girl's number through a friend and had been using all the resources at his disposal to win the lady a first-year student at the university.
After pestering the girl for a while, she challenged the young man to show up at South Nyanza institution for a face to face encounter.
Thanking his stars the young man dressed as if on a visit to his in-laws at the institution at around 3pm and called the fresher.
However the romantic encounter he had anticipated quickly turned into an embarrassing question-and-answer session as the fresher bombarded the lad with questions.
Armoured with many questions the girl left the young man in dilemma of whether to reveal his 'sources' on how he got a number, something considered a serious breach of the campus 'bro-code'.
Unable to come up with a plausible lie, the young man confessed how a friend had given him her phone number at a local church in Sotik and said how desperately he wanted her.
The tough fresher attracted the attention of onlookers and passers-by who were left in uncontrollable laughter when she elaborately ended the near-relationship with a stern warning to the lad to never to call her again before walking off him.
