Kisii Deputy County Commissioner Philip Soi has challenged the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission to change tack in the fight against corruption.

Soi said corruption deals have taken new dimensions and therefore EACC needs to employ different mechanisms to seal the loopholes.

“Corruption is no longer news in Kenya. This is because people are now taking it as a chorus and it has deepened its roots but its high time EACC changes the approach against the vice. The vice is dynamic and players come with new loopholes as we try to seal the existing ones,” he said.

He challenged all stakeholders to join hands in the war against corruption that he noted had robbed the rights of the vulnerable.

“Its time we change paradigm shift in the fight against corruption and it’s the responsibility of every Kenyan.”

He added: “Let us join hands and disrupt corruption deals. We, the internal security are playing our part.”

Soi revealed most of cases of corruption revolve around tenders and therefore he challenged the government to seal the loopholes as one of the measures in the war against graft.
