Kisii boda boda operators have urged the county government to build shades for them as they had promised.
Speaking to this writer on Tuesday at Kisii town, a section of boda boda operators said that they have waited for long for the project to start but it has never started.
Led by Joshua Nyakeri, a boda boda operator in the area said that the county is remaining with two years to another general election hence they are wondering when the county is planning on constructing those shades.
“We have been suffering from heavy rains since we don’t have shade, when will the county government fulfil their promise?” asked Nyakeri.
Simeon Osiemo, another boda boda operator said that they are always forced to shelter in petrol stations when it rains.
