Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has vowed not to support the Jubilee government unless it fights corruption, which he said has become a norm.
Speaking in Cheptiret during a funds drive on Friday, Sudi said he is ready to lose his seat in 2017 general election for not supporting corrupt leadership.
"I am really disappointed with Jubilee government's involvement in corruption, I am even ashamed to have been elected through its ticket and I won't defend anyone involved in corruption even if he is my close friend," he vowed.
He said that President Uhuru Kenyatta should ensure that anyone involved in corruption faces the law.
"I am calling for the resignation of Elgeiyo/Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Leader of Majority in the National Assembly Aden Duale. They should be held accountable for the NYS scam," he said.
He added that if Jubilee government will continue keeping people involved in corruption scandals in government, he will permanently ditch Jubilee Party and join Kanu.
"I urge Kenyans not to elect leaders involved in corruption but to choose leaders who have the interests of the people at heart," he said.
