Kibera MP, Ken Okoth has reaffirmed that he is looking into improving road networks across Kibera area in the next four months.

Okoth said they have put in place mechanisms that will see all roads transformed into all-weather roads.

Speaking at Olympic on Monday, the MP pointed out that there have been ongoing planning of roads in Kibera, under a programme in which 12 kilometres of roads will be gravelled in each ward.

He said the Olympic estate road was already undergoing transformation and will be ready for usage in the next few weeks.

"Road networks are key if we have to achieve our development which we said we will do and this is why I am putting emphasis on improving our roads," he said.

He called upon the county and national government to pump more funds towards improving the roads in the area.
