A section of Molo sub-county residents have expressed optimism following Friday's opening of Family Bank branch in the area.
The residents Sunday said the move would spur economic growth in the agriculturally rich area, and open it up for other ventures.
"With the bank in place then, Molo can now look up to massive economic transformation," said Robert Kitum on the Molo Development Forum WhatsApp group.
"Family Bank has not only brought investment to our doorsteps but also employment and we are grateful for that said,"Asbel Mureithi.
Another resident, Ann Kibe said the bank's arrival is just the beginning of better things for the area adding that the region is destined for better things.
Governor Kinuthia Mbugua officially opened the bank in Molo town during the Gavana Mtaani outreach programme.
