A man was killed and another succumbed serious injuries as the two engaged in a fight over what is reported to be a love affair.

Hell broke loose when the deceased, a conductor, spotted a woman he claimed was his lover with another man, a bodaboda rider.

The drama took place at a local bar in Kiogoro market on Friday night and revelers were forced to scamper for safety.

 The suspect reportedly used two machetes to kill the deceased. 

The bodaboda operator is currently receiving treatment at the Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital under tight police watch.

The incident was confirmed by area assistant chief Naftali Ntabo.
