Kisii Governor James Ongwae has asked the Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) to repair the Kisii-Keroka highway following a grisly accident that occurred on Tuesday.

The governor said the roads authority should move with speed to repair the roads which have affected the transport business so as to reduce accidents.
''The road is under the national government and I have called the Kenya National Highways Authority and they have promised to send a team tomorrow to address the issue,'' said Ongwae.
The governor urged drivers to be careful while driving along the highway.
Kisii County Police Commander Simon Kiragu confirmed that at least ten people were injured in the accident.
