Photograph business is set to boom in Kibera this Christmas season as many residents are expected to take photos with their families at different photo studios within Kibera.
Speaking to this Hivisasa writer on Tuesday morning from his studio in Laini Saba, Simon Nyakoyo said that he makes a lot of profits especially during the December holidays.
“During Christmas, I normally enjoy making profits. Many residents from Kibera, Kawangware and others from Kangemi comes to take photos at my studio. I charge Kshs. 50 per photo during Christmas as opposed to normal days when i charge Kshs. 30," said Simon.
“I have started early preparation for this day. I have bought flowers for decoration, background and a well decorated carpet with flowers. Decorations attract customers and this is the reason as to why I have bought them," added Simon.
