High competition among night clubs in Kisumu has forced some of the entertainment joints to import dancers.

Club managers who spoke to this writer said some clubs now import dancers from as far as Kigali Rwanda to wade off the competition among high profile entertainment joints.

Dancers in some of the clubs are also said to have been ferried from as far as Kampala Uganda.

"For a club to survive in Kisumu, then it has to offer high quality service," a club manager told this writer on Tuesday.

"Otherwise you will be kicked out by competition."

Apart from the dancers from Kigali and Kampala, some of the dancers are said to have come from Nairobi and Mombasa.

Kisumu is among the busiest towns in Kenya attracting thousands of visitors every year.

The presence of the lake attracts many visitors who visit the beaches and get to taste local food.
