Kabete Member of Parliament Ferdinand Waititu has erased fears that Jubilee Alliance Party JAP will bring disunity in counties that arise from poor nomination strategies.

Waititu noted that elections for the nomination of persons in the party will no longer be done from the headquarters but will rather be done by county officials.

Speaking from Kameme FM studios on Wednesday morning during 'arahuka show' hosted by Gatonye, Waititu refuted claims that central members of parliament are planning to boycott the leadership of Ruto come 2022 citing that their motive is to reduce ethnicity and instead unite all Kenyans for growth.

"Yesterday we as members of parliament under jubilee leadership accompanied by governors, their deputies and senators attended a party briefing meeting at statehouse by the President of Kenya. We discussed several issues among them, bringing nomination of party candidates from the county level, forming county party leadership strategies as well as strengthening our steering committee," he said.

"I am still ready and committed to work for Kiambu residents. Kabogo and I will vie for that seat come 2017 and the people's choice will be respected. If he wins, then I will be ready to work with him as my governor," he added.
