A pathologist on Wednesday appeared before a Nakuru court to testify in a case where a 14-year-old girl was found dead after being allegedly defiled.

Titus Ngulungu, a government pathologist conducted the post-mortem as requested by Nakuru CID on November 22, 2010. 

In his examination, Ngulungu said he observed that the body of the deceased had a severe head injury inflicted by a blunt object with evidence of forced vaginal penetration. 

"The head was deformed and had a severe injury due to blunt force application to the head with evidence of a forced vaginal penetration," said the pathologist. 

The body of the deceased who was a primary school student was found in a maize field after going missing for a day. 

Defence lawyer on Wednesday told Lady Justice Maureen Odero that the case be determined complaining that the case has been adjourned severally. 

The court ordered the prosecution to avail witnesses terming the case as old and need to be accomplished. 

Two more witnesses will testify in the case facing Francis Njuguna Kagiri and Francis Njuguna Kamau. The case will be heard on December 8.
