Juja police administration has been reshuffled once again with top police bosses exiting as new ones arrive.
This follows concerns that have been raised by the area MP Francis Waititu.
Immediate former OCS David Kombe will be at Maasai Mara where he will be the deputise the OCPD at Enchoro Central Police Station. The new Juja OCS, Luke Odiwuor, comes from Kapsokwony Police Station where he held the same position.
Ruiru Police Station's immediate former deputy OCPD Birgen Kiptoo is the new Juja OCPD. Joseph Arasa from Matunda Police Station will replace Kiptoo.
Thika Deputy County Commissioner Jeremiah Gicheru said that the new officers are there to regain the public confidence in the police.
The new officers accompanied Munyua in conducting the raids over the weekend in different parts of the sub-county. The time was also spent introducing them to the public.
Over the weekend, Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to reshuffle the officers in Kiambu to effectively deal with the illicit brewing menace.
