Kisumu County parents’ association chairperson Ezekiel Ojwang' has challenged the county CeC for education Jennifer Kere to allocate funds to ensure that infrastructure is improved within Kisumu schools.

Speaking at Social Hall at an educational forum meant to improve educational standards within the county, chairperson Ojwang' told CeC Kere that improved infrastructure will definitely boost academic performance in various learning institutions.

According to Ojwang', more classrooms needed to be built to accommodate students during their learning sessions, through funds allocation more admissions in schools would grow hence regional balance in education.

“We call upon the County CeC for education to allocate enough funds in seeing that infrastructural developments are improved in various schools, this would create a good environmental ground for learning purposes,” said Ojwang'.

Through infrastructural development, education would be enhanced hence most of the learning students getting proper at better services which would necessitate learning.

His counterpart Hellen Akoko also noted that the CeC should see infrastructures are well improved through allocation of funds to keep educational environment conducive. 

“We need to see our children get proper services in schools, proper schools, proper latrines and good learning environment these would necessitate learning, since by building proper infrastructure, learning morale within schools will be enhanced,” said Akoko.
