NACADA Chairman John Mututho has announced that NACADA will intensify its campaign against alcohol abuse in Central Counties where the vice has blown out of proportion.
Mututho has said the campaign will aim at rehabilitating men and youths who have fallen into alcoholism leading them to forget their prime family responsibilities.
At the same time he pleaded with women who are chopping off their partner's private parts to stop it promising that by the end of the campaign many men will have been positively transformed.
"I beg women to stop assaulting their husbands and instead have faith we will finally help their husbands out of alcoholism", said Mututho.
Mututho also appealed to the Media to stop stereotyping Nyeri women as a block saying that they are good and it is anger driving them into chopping their husbands' private parts.
"I have interacted with women from Nyeri and they are not as bad as they are being portrayed by Media. Give us time to treat their men and you won't hear of such cases again", said Mututho to the Media Practitioners.
He was speaking to Journalists in Ruiru Saturday after inspecting a local brewery.
