Molo residents have expressed concerns over frequent power outage in the town and its' suburbs.
The residents claimed that despite forwarding numerous complaints to the region's Kenya Power offices, the problem has persisted.
"We have visited their offices several times now but nothing seem to change, " said Robert Ambale, a resident of Mutirithia.
Those in business say that they are forced to turn away customers during outages.
"On several occassions I have turned away my customers, something they are not happy about,"said Mwihaki, a salonist.
"Rarely does a day end without a blackout in the town," Sammy Nd'ungu said.
The residents have now threatened to stage a demonstration to Kenya Power offices to air their grievances.
