1. Don't leave everything to last minute or later. Don't wait to do everything on the deadline day. Don't wait to wash your clothes when nothing is left to wear. If you have to be somewhere at a certain time, leave your house early.
2. Don't forget the due dates of bills. Pay your bills in time as you will avoid having to pay "late payment fees" and charges.
3. Don't hold onto a job that you hate and that takes almost all of your time. Or one whose pay is terrible that you can't afford to pay your expenses.
4. Don't stay in relationships with emotionally unstable people. Don't be intimate with someone completely incompatible and unable to deal with your emotions.
5. Spend and surround yourself with people who inspire you to be a better you, to improve your life.
6. Don't neglect the people you care about. Respond to texts and calls, and never fail to show up at social events.
7. Avoid those expensive and wasteful habits and addictions. Don't waste your time and money on things which are not important to you.
8. Have a saving scheme and an emergency fund.
