Those interested in applying for bursary in South West Kisumu ward have been urged to pick bursary forms.
The area Ward Representative Joseph Abiola said he has distributed the forms in strategic areas within the ward.
Abiola said nobody will be left out and told the applicants to ensure they have the proper documentation needed.
“This money is meant for the needy, bright children, I want them to come along with their parents or guardians and carry all the documents from their respective schools,” he said.
He said that one must produce documents qualifying them as a student in secondary school, college or university.
Speaking to the press in Kisumu on Monday, Abiola announced that the beneficiaries will this time round get more since the ward got Sh2.8 million.
He said that he will be transparent and accountable in the funds distribution to the needy.
Abiola said that he has followed what the law requires and nobody should fail to collect the bursary forms.
“I have circulated the information on bursary forms widely, that is what the law requires, let nobody say that he or she was not aware,” he said.
He said that education remains his top priority in the ward.
