Komo Assistant Chief John Mulumba has expressed concern over resurfacing cases of crime in the area.
Mulumba said cases of night attacks were slowly coming back, after the criminals were flushed out by the National Youth Service (NYS) troops sometime back.
Mulumba who was speaking to this writer on Tuesday called on the police and other security officers in Thika to help him fight insecurity in his area, saying it was vast.
He said that a gang consisting of youths from the area has been attacking and robbing business people at night and hide in the nearby bushes.
He called on Thika OCPD Francis Muthami to launch a crackdown and bring the criminals to book.
