Nakuru County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha has directed all chiefs and their assistants to move from door to door in ensuring that all uncollected national identity cards are distributed to the owners.
Nkanatha said all chiefs have been given motorbikes and they should use them in distributing the uncollected IDs.
Speaking Tuesday in his office, Nkanatha said chiefs will have no excuse of not ensuring that all the IDs in their possession are given to the owners.
"We have given them motorbikes and they should therefore make use of them and move from door to door to ensure that all the uncollected identity cards are given to the owners,"he said.
"They must move from house to house and not sit in the office for the next one month to ensure that we don't have any uncollected ID cards,"he said.
