The driver of a test to be established company was on Wednesday found dumped in a forest in Duka Moja location in Masinga Constituency.
Confirming the incident, Kangonde area Chief Sebastian Mang'ee stated the area residents found the man who explained that he was heading to Matuu where he was allegedly drugged.
"The residents who were passing by saw the driver and gave him milk to drink after which he explained to them that he had been drugged and was heading to Matuu from Kangonde in a company vehicle which was stolen," said Mang'ee.
The chief confirmed that the man was rushed to Matuu level 4 hospital for more treatment so that he would be able to give the police more information about the incident.
"The man is approximately 35_40 of age and I have asked for a taxi to drive him to Matuu hospital so that he can record a statement with the police later on," he added.
The chief has warned the public stating that such cases are on the rise in the area and assured the residents that the police wouldn't hesitate taking action on the culprits.
